Rob’s passion in life is serving others. Being a Realtor® is the hardest job he’s ever done, but he cannot imagine doing anything else. The most rewarding part of his job is that moment - at the end of the day - when he hands the keys to his client. This is what makes being a Realtor® worthwhile.
Having grown up in small town BC, when there was no internet and boundless opportunities to explore nature, Rob developed a love for the outdoors and learned to quite literally fend for himself. It was Rob’s previous careers, as a chef and then as an actor, that brought out his strong negotiating skills which is one of his biggest assets as a Realtor®.
Rob knows how to think fast on his feet and he never wants to admit defeat for his client. He makes sure he acts with his client’s best interest in mind, understanding that a house is one of life’s biggest investments. He will fight for you! His end goal, however, is to bring a deal together so its beneficial for all parties.
Rob treats everyone the way he wants his family treated. When you’re looking at buying, he will take the time to do a comparative market analysis and work out all the costs involved, such as property transfer tax, lawyer fees, and moving expenses to make sure you have a life after buying a home.
A family man at heart, Rob enjoys nothing more than being with wife and three boys. Holidays are off the beaten path in the family travel trailer to savour being unplugged, on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast. Rob lives in Cloverdale and prides himself on giving back to his community by shopping locally, volunteering for local organizations, and being active in his church.

What Client Say
Rob Lacey, our realtor, organized and prepared us for all the stages leading up to and concluding with a very quick sale of our townhouse. He then guided us through and provided encouragement of the often frustrating process of finding the right house to buy. He kept us focused on staying within our budget and ‘pulled in the reins’ when he saw us becoming impatient and looking at houses over our budget. The housing market was challenging and the amount of stock available was limited at the time of our house hunt. We saw a number of suitable houses but nothing that made us want to write an offer for. One evening he called us and excitedly told us that he found ‘the perfect house for us’! – and he was right. We are now happily settled in our dream home.
If you want a Realtor who isn’t pushy, knows his stuff and will answer your many questions at all hours, day and night, then I would suggest you give Rob a call.
