Lunar New Year Celebrations in Cloverdale

What: Chinese New Year Celebration, filled with festive cuisine and textile displays. Ring in the Year of the Pig in Cloverdale. Head to the Surrey Museum and cheer on the Dragon and Lion dances!

Art of lights: Surrey International Lantern Festival
When: December 14th, 2018 – February 10th, 2019
Where: Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre Park 17726 62 Ave, Cloverdale
What: The Art of Lights international lantern festival shines bright as the biggest lantern festival in British Columbia. Entertainment is around every corner, as visitors are met with food tasting stands, acrobatic performances and traditional craft stands as they walk through the illuminating displays of colorful lights. On special nights, guests can arrive by broomstick or grab a ride on Santa’s sleigh to join in on one of the festival’s themed nights, which include a Halloween night and Christmas Eve Night.

What: Who doesn’t love bowling? The satisfying sound of the ball striking the pins. The big “X” that shows up on the screen. Laughing together at the ball doing the wobble down the gutter. At over 60 years old, Clover Lanes certainly isn’t old. With glow-in-the-dark bowling, a BOSE sound system, it’s hip, it’s hop, it’s happening. Bumper bowling for the smaller ones.
Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino

What: For those of you who enjoy a good night out at the slot machines or the poker table, Fraser Downs offers both the casino experience and the thrill of the harness races.
